Ohio Protects Vital Data with ListSecure™
Morgantown, WV – Sept. 21, 2005 – Northern
Ohio Regional Multiple Listing Service (NORMLS) announced today they
have signed a contract with Threewide Corporation to secure their vital
listing data with ListSecure™.
“We are excited about ListSecure and what it will enable us to
do with our data,” said Carl DeMusz, President and CEO of the
Northern Ohio Regional MLS. “ListSecure gives us more control
of our data and enhances the security of it while giving us the opportunity
to provide more services to our members. In light of the recent data
concerns within our industry, ListSecure will help us protect our members
data-the lifeblood of their business”
ListSecure works in tandem with ListExporter to minimize the opportunity
for the misuse of listing data. ListExporter, the industry standard
for data exports, allows even non-technical staff to selectively package
listing data and images and send it to virtually any location in a variety
of custom and industry standard formats. With ListExporter, MLSs can
control where the data is being sent either on demand or through scheduled
recurring jobs.
ListSecure, Threewide’s latest innovative product, minimizes
the unauthorized use of listing data and images. It allows MLSs to secure
data and help them identify when data is being misused through image
watermarking and unique data tagging. These technologies make ListSecure
a significant tool for enforcing data privacy and re-purposing agreements
of MLSs most vital asset.
